At its Jan. 14 meeting, the School Board of the City of Virginia Beach elected Kathleen Brown as chair and Carolyn Weems as vice chair. Brown has served on the School Board for two years and Weems for 22 years.

You will make new friends, meet new teachers, and learn new things while you are at Shelton Park.
You are important to us! Everything we do is about helping you learn. We have high expectations and high aspirations for every one of you and we want you to be the best you can be!
Look for opportunities to get involved and participate in clubs and come to the events sponsored by our wonderful PTA. We learn a lot in this school, but we also have a lot of fun while we do it!
